Nick Baker -
South Australia Trailer

To promote South Australia, we created an informative video series featuring Nick Baker that introduced sights and activities in South Australia. I was assigned to edit a 30 second video summarising our video series that we used for video billboard ad units across various publisher websites such as National Geographic, Wanderlust and Tripadvisor.

World Travel & Tourism Council

The World Travel & Tourism Consul held an event in New York in 2019 where many influential people from business owners to politicians attended to discuss the direction of travel and tourism in the future. I was assigned to create the video that was played at the end of the event to sum up the purpose of the meeting and to encourage the attendees to help make a change.

 
 

Queensland Tourism

Our client requested a video series that introduced different attractions of Queensland, from islands and beaches to cities and their restaurants. I was assigned to create these videos as well as to make a summary video for each theme we had. This video is the one I created to recap the islands of Queensland. We served these videos as advertisements on YouTube.

(After working on this project Queensland has definitely become “a destination must visit” on my bucketlist.)

Experience our Aloha

Experience our Aloha was a campaign we created to promote tourism in Hawaii. We had four different ambassadors to cover four themes; culture, surfing, cuisine and movies history of Hawaii. I was assigned to edit the videos to introduce these topics and this one is the one that was made for the theme, movie history.

 
 

Kodal Minerals

Kodal Minerals is a resource company that mines lithium close to Bougouni in Mali. The challenge was to create a video for Kodal Minerals’ homepage that will familiarise the user who visits the website where the company is operating and what they’re mining exactly. The video was created entirely in After Effects to achieve the desired result and it can be viewed in context from desktops on the homepage of Kodal Minerals.

Commercial Cut Challenge - BWNC

This is a video that I created for a competition on Instagram with Black with No Cream. BWNC is a facebook group for people in the creative industry to network and to share their work and ideas. Ben Hagarty who started the group announced a commercial cut challenge that I decided to take part in. The footage was provided by Mike Parenteau and it was up to us to interpret it however we liked it. Our job was to tell our story as creatively as possible in 30 seconds or less using music and sound effects only from Epidemic Sounds. Here’s the result.

 
 

Instagram Story

I created a video for my own story feed on Instagram. and because people seemed to really like it, I figured I share it.

Dear Diary

This is the very first video I have ever created. I wanted to express some thoughts I had in a creative way, so I wrote the copy and shot and collected all the footage I needed to edit them all later. Obviously my skills are not at this level anymore, but I wanted to show the results of a project that I was 100% in charge of from concept to execution. I shared this video on my personal Facebook account and it literally blew up. I have never received as many likes and comments on any of my posts as I did on this one. I hope you’ll like it too :)
